My kid did this back when I lived up North. The car was hard to get started and keep started in the cold winter, so he’d just race the engine, until one day . . . (Yes, I had told him, yes the low oil pressure light worked, but he was 17, so of course knew everything. He’s 40 now and no longer knows everything, but he’s a lot smarter.)
