I once belonged to a parish that did NOT have a Catholic Grade School associated with it. Imagine that! The fund-raising to right this sin was barely short of arm-twisting mostly in the form of “He who contributes most, gets his kids into the school.” It was like an exclusive night club: “I’m sorry, your name is not on the list.”
