After waiting interminably in line behind people doing various credit/debit card swipes, inserts, PINs, cash back, etc., I sometimes ask the checker if they take cash. They sometimes get it.

that’s how some gas stations are. they give you a .05 discount per gal. if you pay cash.

I pay cash at unfamiliar restaurants – less likely to have credit card theft.

Recently went to a Dunkin’ Donuts drive-through in my neighborhood, big sign up front ;we are not excepting cash at this time ,only credit cards or our D&D app…
