President Bush: Danny! Stop playing with your food! Dan Quayle: Oh, sorry, sir. Bush: So what did you learn in school today, Danny? Quayle: Nuthin'. Bush: Nothing? Come, come, Danny. Haven't you been paying attention? Quayle: Well, ,I try, Mr. President. But Professor Kirkpatrick is so darn boring, y'know? Bush: How about Professor Kissinger's world affairs tutorial? Is that "boring" too? Quayle: Well, no. But I can't understand him half the time. He's got such a thick French accent. Bush: Danny! Are you sure you've been applying yourself? Quayle: Like nobody's business, sir! Don't worry, Mr. President, I know the stakes! I realize you could bite the big one any day! If and when that day comes, sir, rest assured I'll have enough credits! Bush: Splendid. Well, I better be going. Stay and finish your cookie. Quayle: Hey, wait a minute! You said you'd share a state secret with me! Bush: As soon as Professor Kissinger says you're ready, Danny. See you next week!
