Mark: As stocks continue to plummet today, a frightened nation has turned it's eyes to the White House for reassurance! Good luck, everyone. Person: What's the latest, Jim? Jim: The market's off another 450 points. Person: God...that's a plunge of 1400 in only three days. Jim: I'm afraid it's much worse than the '87 crash. Person: Are we getting any more help from the Fed? Jim: Not at the moment...they're very concerned that if they move too aggressively they could fuel the panic instead of containing it. Person: Well, we've got to do something! The whole world is looking to the White House now for some sign that we've got the situation under control! Dan Quayle: Hi guys! Anyone want to see my new putter? Jim: Uh...we're kind of busy here, President Quayle... A worst-case scenario.
