Person: ...And here he is, the real George Bush! But don't blink! Phil: Hee, hee! George Bush: Let me make a small confession here. When my campaign advisors first briefed me on some of my new positions. I must say I thought they were a little extreme...but then I got to know some of you in the new right, and I saw that Goldwater was correct! Extremeism in the defense of liberty is no vice! When my critics accuse me of pandering to the nuts! I ask them, what's wrong with being nuts about America? What's wrong with being nuts about the flag? It's exactly that kind of nuttiness that made this country great! And by golly, that's why I'm a nut about all of you! Thanks very much. Thank you, Mr. Vice President. Shall we set up the hoops now? Phil: I love this part.
