Ya, there are some people that never learned shame so can’t outgrow it. Others learned that they didn’t need it and only hindered their lives, so the out grew it.

For some reason I’m reminded of George Burns’ guide to success in show business. The key to success in show business, he is supposed to have said, is sincerity: “Once you can fake that, you’ve got it made.”
