How can trickle down economics work if the money is sitting in offshore accounts? Where is the “Carnegie Halls” like the one built by Andrew Carnegie who gave back to the country that made him wealthy? Where are the investments in small businesses which could pay 1%s a return over time? Billions will be spent on the campaigns this year, yet the legislation will be arguing over millions that could put people back to work.I do not understand the mindsets that have put us in this situation.Confusedly,C.
“W” DID admit that he was only a “C” student (which does NOT EXPLAIN how he ever got into graduate school) and his performance with the “English” language proved his skills there, as his “business success” must have been one of the “Ds” dragging down his grade point average. As president, he was definitely an “F”, and his failure to be asked to speak at Tampa proves even the Republicans recognize that now! (Even though they DO have “pants on fire” blankets that still fail the CYA test!)
“Money earned in the US and deposited or invested off shore had Tax paid on it. "-The whole point of offshore accounts is to HIDE MONEY. They are in the countries they are because they are secret. Once the money is slipped offshore, there is no way to determine its source.-The one tax return that Willard released did not include the form that specifies how much was in his Swiss account.
Jees, BUSH said, numerous times he was a “C” student. I really don’t care if that got him an undergraduate degree, fair enough, but I don’t know of a graduate school, especially a prestige one, that will admit a C student into a graduate program. Oh, right, “legacies”.
Too bad the SCOTUS made him a “legacy” president as well. (YES, he LOST the “popular vote”. Look it up.) Iraq alone should have gotten him not only an “F”, but impeached at least in the House.(Impeachment does NOT mean the Senate, even if guilty, will remove him from office.)
