I think Rose is right on her explanation. We just attended last week are rare anniversary. This couple who always has God in their lives 70 years of bliss. Hubby and I have 33 years of marriage. We are a very boring couple meaning no domestic threats just a lot of humor. He is my rock. How many others on wedded bliss?
I had no wedded bliss- married bc I was 21 (time to have babies and all that). Now that I’m adult and my own person, I’ve found a man I can totally love, but if he turns out not to be MINE then I can find another (even if not quite exactly what I want as this one is) but I demand fidelity (because I am HOT for my man). Love can happen at ANY age!

A lot of people stay married for reasons besides love. Not happy at all, just easier than getting divorce.
