It is safer to vote in our country. It took a long time to get everyone the right to vote. So with complaints about “our” government, why do we have such abysmally low voter turnout?
I’d think so. You’ve only really got a choice of two candidates and if neither seem like a great choice you can expect a low turnout. Ignorance plays a part too, to a degree.
The day lobyists are put to rest and candidates rely on us voters money for their eternal reelection, I will think seriously on voting. In the meante I vote only on presidential elections. At least I can keep an eye on one…
