At what point did he say he was gong to release everyone in Gitmo? He said he’s going to close it after the severity of each inmate has been determined. BTW… that 61 people back out there is a misrepresented number.

lalas … interesting. Did you ever see the “The Manchurian Candidate”? There’s one scene where the senator is at breakfast and is asked by a reporter how many communists are in congress. The senator sees a ketchup bottle on another table and quickly answers, “there are 57 communists in congress today”.

In the middle east, Bin Laden has no weapon stronger than his image of a Robin Hood-like hero who dares to give the finger to a superpower led (until very recently) by an idiotic daddy’s boy wanting nothing but oil.
In the west, after 7 years, more and more people (and not just the usual drunk or conspiracy nut) are starting to think Bin Laden is just a US-backed boogieman.
