At least those meals usually include a vegetable.

being a collector and inventor of numerous e-z recipes, I deplore the fact that anyone of any sex or age, cant cook something!…for example: take a small package of chicken thighs, open a can of cream of mushroom or chicken soup and spead it over the thighs…bake for an hour at 350…add a veggie/salad…you have dinner…you could add some sliced carrots chopped onion and/or broccoli,(raw – if you use frozen or canned it/they will turn to mush) etc. if you want to liven it up… E-Z’st dish anyone can make is tacos…brown a pound of hamburger, add Old El Paso or other taco seasoning mix, add the amt of water the package says to, have shredded cheese, chopped lettuce (you can buy it already shredded in both instances) and put it on a soft totilla or buy the crisp ones…there ya go, dinner….personally, I add Pace Picante Sauce (hot), canned mushrooms and slice up about a dozen black olives and throw them all in with the meat to cook down…I make mine with small bites of avacado, onion, tomatoes, lettuce, shredded cheese all on one 10’ soft flour burrito size tortilla and man am I a happy camper! Both of these recipes do this single lady for quite a few meals, they can both be frozen and hold up well when reheated. Save those plastic take out dishes from the chinese joints, and use them for indivial plates.

My husband had to cook while I was recovering from surgery. By the second day he was opening cans and feeding them to me. I swore never to be sick again.

I’m lucky my husband can cook. We take turns.
