I like this one! If GOP said they built it, they didn’t mean literally.

Rich white guy? Is that somehow worse than a rich black guy having slaves “build his house”? Pathetic.

Do you not understand that saying "…this is just [to] stupid to even make a comment " is a comment, Harley?

Tsk, tsk. Well after all, conservative thinking IS an oxymoron…

Yeah, but slave masters were required to house and feed their slaves. Minimum wage doesn’t even cover those costs.

It’s also interesting the Jefferson Memorial has been falling apart, for some time, because the Republicans keep chopping the NPS maintenance money, and there is a huge backlog of work to be done.

The White House is also an NPS property and belongs to ALL Americans, that slavery existed, in several forms, including “indentured servitude” at the time it was built isn’t relative to “Democrat” OR “Republican” of today, it’s just history.

Well, War Shrub DID help those people get on welfare by outsourcing their jobs to foreign countries.

Charlie: My son is in school, has a one bedroom apt. and it’s the cheapest he could find: $1.260 per month rent. There goes your “minimum wage is enough”. Yes, comparing to Ethiopia makes it seem like a lot, but Ethiopia isn’t California, or near the oil fields in the Dakotas, where “old timers” are having to move, because prices have risen so high with the “boom”.
