It’s sad when someone as talented and respected as Clint Eastwood would support Mitt Romney at the convention. Eastwood knows a lot about Holly-wood but not much about Washington. How can the president get laws passed to help the U.S. when the Republicans will not work with him and the Democrats? They have abused the filibuster in the Senate to stop almost any bills. From day one, the most important thing for the Senate minority leader is to make Obama a one-term president. So I would like to quote Eastwood from one of his films: “A man has to know his limitations.” This goes for Eastwood, too. Do what you do best: Stay in Hollywood and make great films.

Considering romney is his opponent, I’d say that President Obama is the luckiest SOB on earth. The econnomy the way it is, romney should be DESTROYING him. And yet, he can’t get out of his own way.

You gatta ask yourself: Why did the GOP actively block any significant legislation to improve the economy over the last 4 years? Oh, that’s right, they felt lit was more important to make Obama fail than to help middle class Americans out of the crises.

The GOP actively blocks Democrat legislation because it would be bad for the country if passed. We don’t need more spending and ever growing government. In 2010 the voters (remember them?) voted out Dems in a landslide and sent Republicans to congress specifically to block Democrat legislation.Republicans are doing exactly what the majority of voters want them to do.

Republicans broke the record on filibuster usage by a large margin.

Identifying the problem = 90% of solution. The Democrats have enacted every law they wanted during the first 24-months of 0bama’s reign, with virtually no help from the Republicans..It is those very laws that are now stymieing the US economy, which is precisely why Republicans have opposed them in the first place..Cure = repeal virtually every single law and regulation imposed by the 0bama team.

Not quite. You see, in 2008, Al Franken won a minnisota senate seat. Due to republicans throwing a temper tantrum, and calling for recount after recount, Franken wasn’t seated untill july of ’09.You also blatently ignore how Obama has tried time and again to work with republicans. Remember Obamacare? The extension of the bush tax cuts? The debt celing deal? Obama has bent over backwards to work with republicans, and all they have to say is NO.
