From 1900 on, perhaps. Most the presidents between Jackson and Lincoln were even more corrupt and puppet-like than Romney is!

Obama is somewhere in the middle of the ranks, while Dubya is down near Hoover, Fillmore, and Buchanon. (Independent rankings, not mine)

It depends on how you are measuring. If you use standards like honesty, impartiality, and trying to balance the Federal budget, Reagan and Bush II are the worst.

There IS a difference between corrupt and incompetent. Corrupt: Nixon, Harding, Jackson, and quite a few others. Incompetent: the top price definitely goes to George W Bush, hands down, the leader by 50,000 points on being stupid. Even Andrew Johnson comes out better, far better.

Ryan’s speech was full of provable lies. Reeps ads are mostly lies and spin. It’s the only way they can convince enough idiots to vote for them.

If you want to measure something, define the system and we’ll measure. But just saying ‘best’ or ‘worst’ without benchmarks or some type of scale denotes an opinion, which is not a fact. Muphy224 and “you libs” can repeat the contrary all you want, but that doesn’t change the definitions of fact or opinion.

and the only president that has so many world wide warrants for War Crimes, he won’t leave the US. i still don’t know why we didn’t arrest him for torture-killing those 8 “non-POWs”

I think RoMONEY has that capability. And we could always bring back George W, Bush to help him out.

Nobel winner: Prosecute Bush, Blair for Iraq war By David Stringer Associated Press LONDON — Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Desmond Tutu called Sunday for Tony Blair and George W. Bush to face prosecution at the International Criminal Court for their role in the 2003 U.S.-led invasion of Iraq Tutu, a retired Anglican Church archbishop of South Africa, wrote in an op-ed piece for the Observer newspaper that the ex-leaders of Britain and the U.S. should be made to “answer for their actions.” The Iraq war “has destabilized and polarized the world to a greater extent than any other conflict in history,” wrote Tutu, who was awarded the No-bel Prize in 1984. “Those responsible for this suffering and loss of life should be treading the same path as some of their African and Asian peers who have been made to answer for their actions in The Hague,” he added.
