What a field day the Libs are having. The Reeps of course deserve it, but what does this do to our country? One day the Dems are up, the next day the Reeps are up. And it doesn’t stop with the election. We have to do something about this whole process before it destroys our democracy. The Europeans must be amazed at how child like our process for picking a leader has become.
Inhofe, Coburn, Ryan, Akins, the Republicans have dozens just as ill-informed, ignorant, or stupid. Coburn for instance would insist mother’s take Glocks into the delivery room with them.
Akins is demonstrating true Tea Party thinking. “Never mind what is best for the party, the county or my state. I will hold steadfast to my narrow view of the universe.” And we wonder why congress isn’t gettiing anything done.
“…Maybe that’s the problem…they AREN’T thinking!”Or maybe not so dumb. He managed to say both that, women who want an abortion because they were raped, must be lying (the legitimate rape part), and that an exclusion from a ban on abortion for cases of rape would be unnecessary (since that can’t happen). And all without being so blunt. His core constituency love it. Those of us who find his words reprehensible wouldn’t vote for him anyway, so in the end, it might end up helping him more than hurting… sad really.

Would that be a Sandra Fluke?-—Well, look, she’s having so much sex, that she wants someone else to pay for it — and you know what that makes her….
