According to the media, yes you are. Don’t worry about losing your job or being able to pay your mortgage, instead worry about what LEGAL amount of taxes Romney had to pay 4 or 5 years ago. BTW it’s funny how the media never talks about Romney giving over 15% of his income to charity every year.
If it was just Romney’s taxes, it wouldn’t really matter. But if you take the tax issue, the way he made money with Bain, the BOSS event when he was lead auditor, and the fact he has three seperate oversea accounts in three seperate countries…it bears scruitiny. If people percieve its ok for the President to cheat the government, they will feel more entitled to do the same. I’m still hoping the Republican convention will advance Jeb Bush, Colin Powell, or even Christy at this point. Romney is, in my opinion, too self serving to be in public service. I miss Reagan Republicans. Respectfully,C.
The investments are the key. In 2010 Romney had a “carried loss.” That means he lost more in his investments in 2009 than he made. Therefore he paid zero taxes on investments in 2009. Since he didn’t have any other income we can conclude he paid zero taxes. QED – Romney is lying about his 13% tax rate.
yes, he legally paid nothing if one has money in cayman bank accounts, swiss bank accounts, donations to their “church,” expense everything even your dog’s meds, business investments interest, etc…because our tax code is so screwed up and have so many tax loopholes, that ge pays no taxes, files a 20000 page tax filing, and gets a tax return of a billion dollars.
How come it’s hyprocitical if I want Romney to release his tax returns and give Obama a pass, but it’s NOT hyprocritical if YOU want Obama to release the records pertaining to everything but his sperm count and give Mittens a pass?
The great talking-point of Raygunomics, as presented by old Saint Ronnie, is that those “above” will “trickle down” something, sometime, on those “below” – when, or where (and most especially WHAT!!) not specified, of course.-The ultimate result of trickle down economics is: Alms for the poor. And there will be plenty of poor.
Willard has been shown to have cheated on his taxes a couple times. Yet his supporters believe he should get a pass.-Geithner cheated on his taxes and retroactively corrected them and paid what he owed. Geithner is a tax cheat.-Willard cheated on his taxes and retroactively corrected them and paid what he owed. Willard is NOT a tax cheat?
Let’s see; the Federal Government needs funds to operate. The way they obtain funds to operate is through taxes. If you don’t want to pay taxes, why don’t you come up with an alternative income plan for the Federal Government?--
You, and the rest of us, including corporations take full advantage of all the things the Federal Government does. Just how do you expect to continue to receive all the benefits without funding? And, if you state you do not receive any benefits, I’ll have to believe it to be a disingenuous statement as we all receive benefits of the Federal Government being there.

Don’t be silly, every good Republican knows that the most important issue isn’t Romeny’s Tax Returns, it’s Obama’s BIRTH CERTICATE.
Or it was at this time last year.
Ah, tea-bagger hypocrisy, ain’t it hilarious

One thing for sure: Mittens is hiding SOMETHING! Dims and Reeps should both be curious about just what that is, NO?

If showing the returns wouldn´t get him in trouble then why not show them. Obama has allready shown his papers.

Yes, but YOU’D only believe Obama was telling the truth if he was being waterboarded at the time.
