I recommend Team Rodent : How Disney Devours the World by Carl Hiaasen. He delves into some of the shenanigans DizCorp gets up to.

After spending the better part of a month with my niece and nephew, I’ve found that there’s LOTS to criticize about Disney’s programming.

I’m sure Walt is “rolling over in his grave” = all the company board members have become like Unca Scrooge !!

Mickey Mouse currently appears in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I haven’t watched it, so I don’t how much of that is new. The last film with Mickey was Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas in 2004. Mickey has also appeared quite a few video games in the last decade (the last one was Kingdom Hearts 3D (in 2012)). The mouse is still very much alive and kicking.

The programming on Disney Channel is so stupid. It has no imagination anymore and all it is is a jumping board for a new kid star of the year. No where near what Walt would approve of!

From what I’ve read, he was a right monster. I do like Phineas and Ferb, though.

The folks at Mickey Rat Corp long ago stopped wearing slippers, it’s jack-boots all the way. It goes back to Walt at the HUAC.

Mickey doesn’t look happy anymore, but rather grumpy and sleepy. My kids enjoyed Disney so much when they were small. It was so much better then with all the classics. Don’t kids like movies like: Old Yeller, The Ugliest Dauchhound, or Lady and the Tramp anymore?

After “The suite Life of Zack and Codie” and the other mindless (“programming”) that fried my grandkids’ brains, we dumped cable and never regretted it!
