On the one hand, the anti-Obama people deplore the fact that the government could/should create jobs and the tea party—no, the whole fricking GOP—has stifled all of Obama’s efforts to create jobs. Meanwhile, the Blessed and Infallible Private Sector is sitting on years of record corporate profits and piles and piles of cash, but are waiting for “certainty” before they’ll start creating jobs (in America anyway)..I can grudgingly accept that a determined minority of lawmakers will stop the government from creating jobs, but don’t accept that when they do so it’s not THEIR fault.
For the record, conservatives DON’T want the government to “create jobs.” They want the government to stop impeding the natural job growth which would come from an unfettered economy. The reason there’s been no real recovery is that Obama has done everything in his power to disrupt the economic forces which would (and always have) restore prosperity.
Back in 2008, every economist, and “watcher” of the economy looked at what had happened under “W” and said: “HOLY CR**!!” The pit Bush built, was deep indeed, and a fall in was lethal to many people hung out to dry by his “buddies”.
:) Don’t be a sore loser, darling. 1. ;) = a smiling wink…you know the sort of thing…a laugh, a jocular remark… GSOH etc? No? No. Okay. I’ll try to remember that for next time. No laughing. Fun bad. And you can try to work out where the delete button is in your post so that you can correct your “typos”.2. Gallup also says that Obama is leading in the polls. 3. “Substance”? You’re a naughty little scamp. The last time I answered the “substance” in one of your posts it perturbed you so much that you couldn’t being yourself to debate any part of it and you resorted to snide sarcasm. Oops, you did it again, Britney. I await with baited breath your next incisive devastatingly witty riposte. And that’s how to do sarcasm. ;)(Or we could put this behind us and try to be friends? How’s about it, chum?)

“I noticed the economy started to tank right after Obama’s election.”
No. The economy had already failed by the time Obama was elected.
