Lani…Bruce…agreed…! gotta loosen up every now and then!
Even the troops in WWl (when war was civilized [?]) went into no man’s land and played soccer and traded treats.
Comeon…………..Scott……….er…..who is Britney Spears and Brad Pitt?
;)
Hey S T F U….my beloved Redskins…sniff sniff….lost to those Saints! (the New Orleans ‘ain’ts is a distant memory now I am sure… ;)
Wouldn’t that be unbelievable if there were TWO undefeated teams in the Super Bowl!
Oppps! Sorry folks, forgot this is only for political commentary……..
~winks~
Okay, is this still New Orleans? I don’t follow football, but with all the sports franchises (not really “teams” anymore) bouncing around the country like ping pong balls, how do “local” fans pick a team? Sub-atomic particles hang around longer.

It is true that modern sports have taken away much of that ‘veneer’ of home grown athletic heroes. However, players have always been traded, just not as much as today. When Boston Red Sox traded Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees almost 90 years ago, that day of infamy became commonly referred to as the “Curse of the Bambino” (er…..surely not in New York, but Boston… ;) )
Heeeey Bruce!
No fair! As a staunch Conservative, that is like…er…..rewarding a team for…..a lackluster performance! ~winks~
(You might have to battle my RedSkins for that honor my friend….)
Actually, it was worse than that, churchill, john - the Red Sox were the best team in baseball until the owner got into the show business, and every time he produced a flop, he sold another great Sox player to the Yankees. He didn’t stop until No, No, Nannette, which was his first success. (I live in the Boston area.)

This is a hilarious comic. I love it! I’m from New Orleans and this isn’t unimportant to me. My neighbors have never felt such pride and joy.
Cartoons move: this is a comic strip.
Artists can and should draw whatever they feel passionately about in the world. Mr. Ramsey can do what he likes. If you don’t approve, clam up.
Thank you Mr. Ramsey! Go Saints!
