It’s sold on the world market. That includes all commercially pumped US oil. If you want real energy independence, you have to break the heroine-like addiction to petroleum.
In almost every religion, the “followers” rewrote the text, and interpreted it to THEIR advantage, even if psychotic.. It’s like our “oil policy”, which says we call for developing more oil and coal, THEN WE EXPORT THE PRODUCT!
The real “American religion” boils down to profit, mostly corporate profit, if the “prayer rugs” are those laid out by the homeless who lost their jobs, on street corners and under bridges, well, so be it, it’s ordained by the all mighty residing in the palace of commerce.
Folks don’t need to “share and share alike”, but it would be nice if those with the wealth would let jobs and $$ “trickle down” as jobs for their fellow Americans, who pay a higher percentage of their income in taxes, as they don’t HAVE dividends subject to dodging even MORE taxes!
