My dachshund usually removes the squeaker, the proceeds to rip the guts out. Then I throw it away. I try not to spend too much since it will be destroyed in short order.It does make him happy for a little while.
batterie61: Mine would demolish a tennis ball in less than a week. We tried an “indestructible” nylon bone and it was reduced to swallowable size in nine months.
My dog also destroys dog toys in a matter of hours. We ended up giving him a stuffed polar bear… Those things must have been made tough because he still has it a year later and it still has all its guts.
