I’m just glad my father never lived to see this He was always talking about how Joe Paterno and Penn State were the living proof you COULD have winning college football team and keep it clean.
( And part of Dad’s job involved counseling abused kids. )
Agreed. There is even talk of ending the football program. Some of this went on in the late 90’s, when todays penn state team were still in elementry school. its not fair to punish the players for this.
Their motto was “victory with honor” at the same time they were sacrificing children to their macho, money-fueled worship of football, education be hanged.
