Who is they? If you are talking about the conservatives, they did not bring up the issue. It was brought up in Edward Klein’s new book, “The Amateur,” an unauthorized biography of President Barack Obama. So now, I guess, you get to slap your knees again!
gop is using the same past tactics to win votes. they are trying gay marriage, china as a rival, debt ceiling, birthers, unions, abortion, russia as a rival, deficits, immigration, and etc…this is scraping the bottom of the barrel tactics. some people like reruns, but in our modern age of netflix, youtube, etc…reruns are irrelevant. for a party (gop) who touts that they can create jobs, well, abortion won’t create jobs, debt ceiling will lose jobs, birthers won’t create jobs, gay marriage won’t create jobs.
even funnier is that it was thought of by the owner of the chicago cubs who is asking the state, county, and city to have public money be spent to renovate wrigley field. the same owner who says that gov’t intervention is bad, but needs gov’t help for his baseball team.
“Quoting the vernacular, ’I’m just saying’” means you’re really lying, but trying to avoid being held accountable in a court of law. A typical ruse of the Right; the party of Nuts.
Hello Neighbors,An excellent story on NPR dealt with the amount of time political officials spend on the phone lobbying supporters for money for reelection. It was less than three months ago and you may find it in their archive. It is sad to see the GOP being so mean spirited and unwilling to compromise and even sadder to recognize nearly all the tools they are using were first used by Democrats. Both parties are to blame for dividing and weakening our nation, just as Geo. Washington warned against in his farewell address. It is up to us as voters to turn things around and be at least as involved in voting for leaders as we are to vote for Idols, Voices, Dancers, and Talents.Anyone know of a good Referendum website? We the people have a tool at hand which allows us to bypass the legislatures and pass our own laws. It’s not easy, and it’s not quick, but if we do it right and with respect and honor…IF…we could make us a better nation and become better people doing so.Respectfully,C.
As Mitt has now stayed out of “that silly non-issue” by producing HIS “Certificate of Live Birth”, which is just like Obama’s “short form”, what is to say Romney’s isn’t a “fake”? After all “anybody can produce a false document”, right?
“…the President’s birth certificate that has been circulated is that it isn’t an original, with his footprint and created at the hospital”
The certificate you are talking about ISN’T the legal document you need to get a passport, marriage license or anything else a birth certificate is required to be shown for. Those cutsie documents you’re referring to are meant to be taken home and glued into your baby book. The one President Obama provided is the that is registered with the state of Hawaii.
The one President Obama provided is a certified copy of the one that is registered with the state of Hawaii. The original NEVER leaves the the Registrar’s office.
“Not so! We Republicans DO have an issue. Unemployment jumped again this morning and more Americans are out of work. This is SUCH good news for the GOP.”--Yes, you are right, that means the republicans are a skosh closer to their goal to sink the USA.

….even the Late Night folks are doing that —running reruns, I mean.
It’s Summer, folks —even the Weather is showing it!

Romney should pick Trump for VP — or at least a cabinet position. He’d be huge. HUGE.

Oops, I need to fix the typo and clarify:
The one President Obama provided is a certified copy of the one that is registered with the state of Hawaii. The original NEVER leaves the the Registrar’s office.

That is one of the most ridiculous statements I’ve heard, aside from that your logic is flawed. Convenient but flawed.
