I may look into that program Top Cat. In gimp, animation is under Filters on the top menu selction. You also have to export things. Saving something only goes to gimp’s format to save almost everything you’ve done. You can use it to scale pictures etc. and only learn what you want. If you try to learn everuthing it could take awhile. It’s easy for me to use as I used programs like that for my job when I was working.
Top Cat – If you have trouble and still want to use it I may be able to help through e-mail or something. I am also on Facebook and my contact info is there if you use that. It would be hard to explain things here. Also it takes me awhile to type as I can only use one finger. :-)
Top Cat – I like Gimp a lot. I do have some to learn about the animations. In the previous version the transparent areas became grey and I had to change every layer to get the transparent areas. It still happens in some functions like making something ripple but the basic animation is fixed. Luckily I like figuring things out, that helps a lot when there’s little help written about an area.
