Maybe the healthcare that most need is just keeping their hands away from their mouths?

The end result of being told we have to work 50+ hours a week to support the lazy on wellfare.

Something around two thirds of Americans are overweight but I’m in the other third.

Ketira: an old family friend was severely obese; two of my nieces have had bypass surgery, one lost MORE than I weigh! All three confessed that their REAL weight problem was shoving too much food in their mouths, even though they were great “talkers” and very funny to boot.

I take meds that do INDEED cause weight gain if you do NOT “modify” your diet when taking them. I’d like to loose and keep off ten or so pounds, but it’s interesting that all the “medical professionals” I run into all laugh because compared to their “average” clients my age, I’m “skinny”!!

The simple fact is that with VERY RARE exception, “medical conditions” and “genetics” do NOT cause obesity, it is simply over-eating and not exercising. It’s amazing how many calories athletes indeed DO consume, and it’s also amazing how many become obese after they retire and do not adjust their diets to match their calorie “burning”.
