It’s called being yelled at!

Young woman and me, besotted, swore we wouldn’t carry cellphones for employers unless the pay were hundred grand per phone.

Pre-repression* thinking.

Maybe the sound from the phone should be BLEEP, BLEEP…

I’m surprised that the owners of smartphones can stay on task long enough to find their way online.

Not only do I not own a Smart Phone – I do not own a cell phone. I like being free of constant harrassment.

Smart Phones are full fledged computers in a small form factor. I currently have a desktop because it was cheap ($150), but I’m saving my pennies for something like a Netbook – as small as it can be with a touch type keyboard and at least a 10" screen. I want it to fit in my backpack easily, but don’t care about putting it in my pocket.

N’uh-uh! I have another command I observe. Thou shalt not not text.

Sad but true.

Good for you. How did we grow up without all these modern “conveniences”?

My cell phone (dumb one – not smart) costs me about $30 per month for 300 minutes. My usage rate comes out to about $3 per minute! LOL Bumped up against the 300 back when it was new several years ago.
