    The best was to get a kid in each section leaning way out, get it up to speed, and then everyone moves to the middle.

    It’s not about political correctness or too many wussy parents — it’s lawyers, insurance companies and the US for-profit health care system. When someone gets hurt and the only to pay their medical bills is to sue, then the ambulance chasers start looking for more cases, and then the lawyers for cities and schools yell “get that thing out of here before the insurance goes up.”

    We had a merry-go-round that was built where you could ONLY ride it standing up and holding on to two metal bars. We enjoyed the challenge of trying to hold on while some older kid tried to spin you off of it!

    This brings back memories of my childhood at our nearby playground. I enjoyed spinning on that merry-go-round. In the adult world, one has to get off the merry-go-round or they’ll just go around in circles all the time.
