Oh, and BTW—the moon “waxes” when it appears to grow bigger until the full moon, then it “wanes” as it appears to grow smaller. And that is the result of a classical education! LOL

Impress your friends! When the moon’s lit side is curved like the letter ‘D’, it is waxing: it is going towards full, like the letter ‘O’. When it is curved like the letter ‘C’, it is waning, going to dark/new moon. D-O-C.

In the northern hemisphere, that is. Reverse it in the southern.

…March 25th, the moon will be hanging out with Jupiter and Venus. Tonight is when those two planets are in conjunction.

Lately it seems as though Satchel has emerged as a suppressed philosopher… and Astral Bob has his head up Uranus.

I could swear that earlier this week for “Get Fuzzy”, I made some wisecrack about being thankful for them not mentioning Uranus. However, it appears I did not. I must be slipping.
