“J Street” group and many other Jewish and Israeli groups do NOT want an attack or war to “pre-empt” action by Iran, which unlike Israel, DOES NOT HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONS!
Every time Israel has picked a country to “pre-emptively attack”, WE have ended up in wars, directly or otherwise, with OUR troops getting killed. Like in Beirut, Iraq, Afghanistan, or even our early attack on Libya when we lost an F-111 crew to “punish” Gadaffi a long time ago.
Maybe it IS time to recognize with seven billion people in the world, and over 300 million in our country, a nation with only the combined population of Los Angeles and Chicago, should NOT determine all our foreign policy??
Israel and Netanyahu have many enemies and many “frenemies” who give lip service only to “supporting” the existence of Jewish Israel.-22 Arab/Muslim nations with 650 times the land area surround tiny 44-mile wide extent of Israel, from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean Ocean……. and time after time multiple armies have started to “wipe out Israel” and Israel has emerged the Victor, using Jewish military and God’s miracles to win.-God selected Jerusalem as the Eternal capitol for Jewish Israel, and even the UN is participating in an ANTI-JEW meeting in Doha, Qatar, and PLA Abbas is one of many leaders, condemning the Jews who have God’s Deed since the days of Abraham and 3,000 years of recorded history as the “Owners” of Palestine, accusing Israel of “occupying” their own national capitol city!-my prayer and millions of other Bible believers’ prayers is for God to defend and keep safe every Jew in Palestine, no matter who is against them defending the nation’s existence!
John Ankerberg’s weekly TV program reported that Anthony Cordesman’s analysis of the results of Iran’s launching nuclear missiles at Israel shows the probability of millions of deaths in Israel and Iran and surrounding areas….the destruction of the Mideast oil producing areas….and the end of Iran as a structured society. -IMO, the possibility of a world facing threturn to horse and buggy days…! And possibly explaining why the Bible refers to Armageddon armies using horses!
at least poster denis is paying attention to the real news.Israel has never threatened to wipe any other nation “off the earth” and the Jews have not invaded any other nation….Israel only defended its survival when attacked or to deflect enemies gathering to do an attack.-Iran and other Islamics daily use Arab media to curse and demonize Jews as “pigs” and worse….they teach their children to hate Jews and to desire martyrdom killing Jews.-Obama gives mere lip service to Israel….he has insulted Netanyahu from their first meeting…Obama tries to dictate Israel’s defense policies….and shows favoritism to Muslims continuously…as Egypt, Turkey and Jordan evolve into out and out enemies of Israel….and Obama and Sec/State Clinton are trying to keep Israel from destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities based on Israeli intel which is far better than anything the USA can detect about Irani progress.

Digusted, the israeli “wins” were not just a miracle of god. Israel has the backing of the good ole’ USA AND the israeli’s are the descendants of holocaust survivors, who after hitlers death camps, were refused asylum by EVERY western nation and could not return to their ‘homes’ in europe. Yes even the USA refused them entry, and the brits put them in their own concentration camps (not death camps). When you have a population that comes from survivor genes AND since the inception of israel, their neighbors have tried to drive them into the sea continually – they are not so easy to fool, or to kill.
If israel was “grabbing land” as it’s goal, israel would own lebanon, jordan and the sinai. but oops! can ANYONE remember, after they won those wars, they gave that land back, or used it as a buffer zone against future agression.
but i guess israel doesn’t get credit for giving back more land than it ever took. the world has always been anti-jew.
