    A good point gm997. They do seem to be prevalent in these areas. When I was doing my medical training we learned about some of these conditions and a number of them came because parasites, infections, bacteria, micro insects etc, were picked up in less developed areas from the food the people there ate and picked up walking about barefoot. Some of the problems the people had in these parts of the world were pretty horrific.

    My wife has a normal tongue and she hasn’t closed her mouth in 20 years.(Don’t tell her I said that.)
