    My dad is always telling my mom stuff like this. My mom has taken to saying “Pat! Don’t tell me things!”

    I once convinced my mother that a small brown spider with a checkered body was a “Sir Widow,” the male of the black widow species. I let her think that for, mm, a day or two.

    I always thought they put the holes in the cheese so they could charge more per slice but give you less.
