Banks and “financial” companies are rushing in with new ways to “shaft” those with such bad credit they can’t get real checking accounts, but must get direct deposit. Maybe another spot where some regulation may be in order? Get your unregulated “payday loan” while you’re at it!!
Record profits by oil companies. Domestic oil production is at an all time high! That’s right neocons,Obama’s administration has higher domestic oil production than Bush. Big oil made a record 137 billion last year but Republicans still want to give them tax breaks!
Why shouldn’t the workers receive the benefits of their labors? Why should that money go all to one or two already very rich? Sharing the profit with the workers will help put more money into the economy.
Food stamps, disability, and jobless benefits are evil, for it is written in the right wing bible, Jesus went into the temple and saw there many vendors and money-changers. “Blessed are the job creators” he said, “for theirs is the kingdom of capitalism.” But to the jobless and idle occupying the temple, he said “begone you lazy bums, get a job and give all you have to the rich, for wealth is next to godliness” and he whipped and drove them out of there.
