The Roberts court has more conflicts than a junk yard dog has fleas, and they are just ignored, especially by Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Thomas – thereby destroying the court’s credibility and prestige but not, unfortunately, the judicial precedents of its corrupt holdings.

“while on good behavior” should actually be better defined for the idiot public, and several of them should have been impeached already. Being the “highest law in the land” does NOT put them ABOVE the law! (Of course that would apply to a large number in the House and Senate as well.)

Each member should be appointed to 20 year non renewable term.

It should be an 18 year non-renewable term, staggered so that one seat becomes open every two years. That way, every president gets to appoint at least two justices.

Details would have to be worked out, such as what to do when a justice retires or dies before his/her term expires, but that is not a major problem.

This will never happen, however, because it would require a Constitutional Amendment, and neither side would be willing to give up the chance to pack the court.

Oliver Wendell Holmes,Jr. stayed until he was 90 and was one of the best and served from 1902 to 1932. It would have been a shame if he was only there 18 years.

If the conservative judges want to go down in history as corporate clowns, they did it to themselves as sitting judges! Alito,Thomas and Scalia are well documented corporate shills.
