Atually, I thought it was spot on. Most of the Republicans I know have responded similarly each time a candidate they don’t like has surged. While Mr. Sheneman may have a “liberal agenda”, it doesn’t make the ’toon any less true.
Miss Quin, you will care if the GOP picks a candidate that can’t reach across the aisle and pick up votes from some Democrats. Santorum is a good wholesome guy but he also has the ability to fire up Obama’s supporters with his Anti Gay, Anti Abortion, Excessively conservative values.
I’m a Republican but I’m also a pragmatist. If the Primary floats the most conservative candidate we can find you will almost guarentee the loss of the candidate in November. The Presidential candidate HAS to be somone who can energize our base and de-energize the other candidate’s base.
Nicely summarized. You left out that the Earth is 6,000 years old and was put here to be strip-mined and polluted for corporate profit instead of being tended and preserved for human life.
Murder? Demonizing your fellow Americans? It’s language and behavior like this that has given us a deadlock in government. And you have managed to forget or overlook the fact that it’s ROMNEYCARE, and it was highly praised by the GOP first in Massachusetts and then later. It gives MORE money to the very insurance industry that makes our healthcare #1 in cost but #27 in quality. Try some reality.
they picked a guy who can’t be googled unless the filter is off. a guy who was in the abramoff corruption scandal. a guy who says that women soldiers can’t handle combat. and, until the last month was broke and was thinking about dropping out.
Poll after poll for about a year now have shown that most Republicans are unsatisfied with the candidates in this primary, and wish they had somebody else to vote for. That’s just the way it is. Your obsessive hatred of Obama won’t change that fact.
There’s no such thing as fascist Democrats. The only fascism we’re seeing is from the far-right Republicans. And if Republicans were “locked out of the room” for Obamacare, how is it that the law includes everything Republicans USED to support for health care reform (and only stopped supporting it once Obama was in favor of it)?
