He probably calls it elevator music because he hasn’t learned yet to appreciate the rich varieties that music has to offer. Most youngsters prefer rock music because it speaks to them. It’s ‘their’ music. But when they get older, they’ll learn that there are other music forms out there from Beethoven to Springsteen and all of them have something to offer.

Yes, you don’t see her that way often. Not that she doesn’t look good in her usual duds. And Annie’s dress (what you can see of it) looks very grown-up, though not inappropriately so, thank goodness. Fewer things more distasteful than seeing very young girls looking like tarts. Not very appetizing when the older ones are attired that way, either.
