Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for December 26, 1993
Transcript:
Twas the day after Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The family had gone to the sale at the mall taking their gifts and returning them all brad asked for money instead he got socks. Luann returned just about all that she got. Mom exchanged clothes to get the right size. Dad wanted shirt, not four ugly ties. the season of shopping! The registers ring! Shop til you drop, but remember one thing: the stores need your business so visit them all. But the true gift of Christmas is not at the mall

Now why did Luann returned her gifts. Simple, they went out of style the second before she unwrapped them!
