Kindly inform his Excellency the Obama that we citizens of the jobless class plan to hold a tax form to study the issue of unpaid taxes. We shall inform him of the results if any.
Oh my God!
I have been made aware of not just ONE, but TWO new classes of citizens by Ted Rall and mattro all in the click of the mouse!
funny shortass :)
1- Move all mortgages on houses being lived in full time to 5% over prime (as Rall has suggested). The number of people needed to push the paperwork would increase 10fold, and the bankls kept standing from the influx of repaid mortgages would need more employees.
2- Let AIG, GOldman Sachs and all the rest fail. There would be scores of small firms created to pick up the slack needing, you guessed it, lots of employees.
3- Go ahead with ‘cash for new appliances’ to put some money directly in the hands of consumers.
Granted, most of these jobs would all be in the financial sector, but it’s a good start to get the ball rolling.
Does Ted Rall have any opinions besides bashing Obama? The right does a fairly good job of it and I am glad that someone on the left is willing to stand up but truthfully its getting old. (though he has drawn some greatness)
^Rall is p.o.’ed and fired up. And honestly I don’t blame him. The president could’ve easily suspended don’t ask don’t tell with a stroke of a pen, he could easily crucify the blue dogs on the national stage, tell the republicans to shut the F— up, re-enact the Sherman Anti-Trust laws suspended by the Reagan administration so that he could break up “too big to fail”, and on and on.
Not quite the progressive we were hoping for but its a hell of a lot better than electing a dottering old man and Dan Quail.
human, I’ve always said the uber-rich could buy a small yacht with their Bush tax cut. The average, working middle-class American could use it to take the family out for dinner and a movie, depending upon how expensive the restaurant was.
Exactly Bruce4671. That debtor that owed much was fogiven by that king. When that debtor went to collect a little from his debtor, he offered no forgiveness. The king was very angry and sent for the debtor that the king forgave, to be punished.
The king was willing to forgive the huge debtor, the huge debtor was not willing to forgive his debtor.
unpaid taxes? that is what the bankruptcy courts are for…to beat the gov out of the money i made on investments in the “private prison corperations” and war profiteering, china/bp oil fields in Iraq… the war was NOT for oil in america- for the brits and China oil exploitation.
why else make W a Lord and loyal british subject like his daddy on his knees b4 a royal to get HIS lordship…(for his great work defending a kingdom of kuwait…)
How come the “birthers” never see the lordships on sir donald rumsfeld, Kissinger, Sir Reagan, Sir bush(s)fox noose rubert and sir black(chi sun-times),them all on their american knees b4 a royal? hmmm i mean on their KNEES to be touched by her sword, that is more than a bow….now comes Sir gilly f/new yerk state to run as a U.S. senator….
i missed Obama’s tax cuts(payroll) as I was thrown out of work as the bills for WARs came to the co i was working for…

That reminds of the parable in Matthew 18:21, 35. Debts.
