neither Norquist nor any “no tax pledge” caused the “supercommittee” congressional ScapeGoat hoax to “fail”….it was (1) congress’ mass ignoring of the 2010 VOTE to try to replace BIG SPENDERS and (2) the Democrat’s politicization of our $15 Trillion DEBT which daily increases! Also (3) the Democrat’s plan to use CLASS WARFARE and Robin Hood’s Agenda to try to keep power by re-election!

Love the profuse apology to Jim Henson….. I’m sure he’d understand.

Norquist simply has the AEI “spin machine” behind him, it’s like the NRA on steroids. (No, not the National Restaurant Association, the other one.) Norquist DOES offer a “magic bullet”, but it only works for suicide.

They are Democrats! Responsible for spending America bankrupt….Irresponsible for admitting and correcting Spending Crimes against The People.

do you not concede, democrats tax and spend, and republicans barrow and spend. Therefore republicans spend us into bankruptcy.-to reply….actually, both D and R have taxed, borrowed and OVER-spent for years….the Rs do in in smaller amounts than the Ds…..because Congress is a 2-party monopoly law-making body. The admitted total DEBT of all annual deficits is now $15 Trillion…..but neither party has a real, workable solution. The GOP has the correct theme, but the Democrats prevent a Conservative plan to begin the needed corrections.

for 1opinion…http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/our-spending-problem_610029.html?page=2“Supercommittee, R.I.P.” by J.H.Anderson, “Our Spending Problem”….11/22/11 printed 2 pages.-Facts from the CBO….Obama’s oxymoronic “budget” would make no spending cuts, but would have increased spending by more than $400 billion/10 years…compared to the supercommittee’s 2012 through 2021 spending total of $45.77 Trillion….assignment to cut 2.6% or $1.2 Trillion….which they failed to do….while annual spending increases are estimated to be 24% HIGHER than now. That is in fact, continued growth, with NO CUTS, of federal spending/deficits on top of the current $15 Trillion debt.

Under Reagan, the 1% started to pull ahead of the 99%. Look up the curve comparing productivity, middle incomes, and income of top earners.

Back in the 50’s my father worked for Wilkins Coffee and tried out to be the spokesperson for the company. Jim Henson applied too…. the rest is history. Hope everything works out, hang in there.…….http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxLyuw5bdyk

Charles Krauthammer is not very bright, and is certainly no economist. He wants us to attack Iran and Syria, and claims that Obama “lost” Iraq because we aren’t keeping 50,000 soldiers there permanently. Where you gonna get the cash and the young Americans, Chuck?
