I would love to put up the big tree and hang my gorgeous glass decorations, but it is too much work and although I’d enjoy seeing it, just not enough to drag those 3 very heavy pieces + stand from the garage and put them together plus arrange decorations (after figuring out all the lights) and then disassemble later. I would do it if we had a big party (and especially with help) but I have a few simple decorations that all have lights and are less work. I also installed some stuff in the front yard on timers; all that is plenty for a single lady in her 70s. I’ve not even done groceries yet this week with some cold and rain ;-(

Could be worse mine always wanted to help with the un-decorating. (and later disposal of the glass ornaments) ;)

Ours NEVER liked where we hung the orniments on the tree ,,, they were MUCH TOO HIGH !

Reasons number one and two as to why we don’t put a tree up, well that and because we are genereally out of town. I do have a few decorations though.

I like how they have a nice big easy opening to the attic. Ours is in the top of a closet – a real pain to try and use for storage.
