They don’t need guns. They were allowed to rewrite law and regulations to suit their purpose for 25 years. The “balanced budget amendment” is just more political B.S., and well, pretty stupid actually. Now Congress writing laws to govern themselves DOES make some sense, but in world economies, having some leeway is mandatory.
BTW $1 Trillion of the $1.2 trillion in cuts over 10 years can be accomplished by just canceling the F-35 project that is a piece of junk!
@wolfhoundthe insider trading witihin congress has been going on for years and is easily documented. the FACT of the matter is it isn’t illegal.
the congress MAKES the laws, and in the laws they make they EXEMPT themselves from the law. Most of the stuff they impose on the rest of us, they exempt themselves from.
whether it’s kiting checks or using postage, they are not breaking the law, where if we do things, we are.
vote the bums out.
and the media is NOT doing their job. Rather than reporting on the results of dancing with the stars, or the kardashians, they should be shining a bright light on the inner workings of our government.
