Apparently Chicago women are hot. Here’s my question, if according to Cain, for every woman who makes an accusation there are thousands who don’t, how many of the 600,000 women left to come forward are from Chicago?
this media-supported-Chicago thug Democrat SMEAR CAMPAIGN is identical to the smearing campaigns done to get Obama elected in the 2004 Dem Primary and general election…falsely ruining an innocent democrat and an innocent republican….and Obama had to be in the US Senate to run for president….same MO and same rotten false allegations….in a he said/she said trap for Herman Cain…..there is no proof, no evidence and no civil rights for the accused.
I assume the fact that the restaurant association paid some of these women off is of no concern. He didn’t do it, they felt like gifting the women. Lets get real here folks.
As John Steward pointed out, Cain’s attitude toward women was apparent in the debate last night when he referred to former Speaker of the House as “Princess Nancy.” It’s an unprofessional (and childish) personal smear on a fellow professional. An attack on the issues would reflect a higher capacity to lead. And, kindergarten name slinging is hardly what the country needs.
What I find most interesting is the entire damage is self inflicted. When the stories first surfaced Cain could have closed the issue quickly simply by stating ‘While I was head of the National Restauranters Association several women accused me of inappropriate behavior. While I wanted to fight the accusations, the legal staff felt is was less expensive to reach a settlement.’
By denying there were any incidents, then changing his story repeatedly Cain destroyed any credibility.
Harley do you have ANY IDEA how many sexual harassment suits are fraudulent? Of course you don’t. The way your mind works is that any sexual harassment charge against a Democrat is invariably true, against a Republican is invariably false. Did I get that right?
I continue to be amazed that Lalo Alcaraz is even paid to label his poorly drawn pictures, and wonder why. His comics have no insight, make no statement, and are boringly predictable, and like this one today, make assumptions that are slanderous and unproven.
McCain WAS the one at the Hanoi Hilton, and a number of Republicans DID “chastise” him for signing documents under duress. I challenge any of them to “share” his experiences. I don’t agree with the “latter day” McCain on many issues, but respect his time as a POW, which DOES explain a lot of his “interesting” behaviors. John Kerry DID serve in ‘Nam, and like me, came back against that war, after what we’d seen and participated in. It is the Chickenhawks that deserve our wrath.
the point of the ’toon, reflecting on what I saw in ’Nam is that Cain, as well as Bachmann, Romney, and especially Perry, are the kind of half-witted chickenhawks and hypocrites who would put not just the “troops”, but the whole nation at deadly risk, for their egos, and personal profit. Ignorance and arrogance are the wrong sides of the coin we flip.
Not the most subtle cartoon in the world, but it gets acrossd the main problem with sexual harassment: a boss coercing an employee. It is obvious that Herman Cain sexually harassed some number of women. His denials insult our intelligence. His quality as a candidate was already low. His practice of sexual harassment makes them lower. If the Teapublicans want to nominate him, however, there is nothing I can do about it except continue to campaign for President Obama’s re-election. None of the Teapublican candidates can beat him, and all would be worse than he.More than just Obama’s re-election, however, we must elect a progressive Congress, voting out the do-nothing class of 2010.

My favorite cartoon on Cain is by Phil Hands. It shows a woman ordering pizza from Cain and he asks, “Would you like to hold the sausage.”
