I really like Green M&Ms. What’s wrong with them?

It’s a reference to Van Halen’s rider when they toured. They put “no brown M&M’s” in their request for a bowl of M&M’s. If they saw brown M&M’s, they knew there was a problem because the local promoter wasn’t carefully following the rider, which also included things like equipment being set up a certain way. It was a rather ingenious way to quickly see if their rider was being followed or not.
