Firstly Professor Sprout is a woman. Secondly, she has never been described as having a beard or staff in the books, although she is short. Although Dumbledore has never carried a staff, I can’t think of any other teacher at Hogwarts who has a long, white beard. Hark who’s calling people idiots.
