After a lackluster showing like that, LSU doesn’t deserve to be #1.
Perhaps you have forgotten the 2008-9 season. Utah, the only undefeated FBS team, was snubbed in favor of one-loss Florida and Oklahoma. Utah joined the Pac-12 after that.
