Interesting. It looks to me like the person on the right is wearing a yarmulke. If so, it seems strange to me that the arab spring person is depicted as Jewish.

big difference in usa: only unemployed and disgruntled folks made the move in arab spring, very high unemployment rates, usa has a small rate compared to other nations, and power-movers (critical in arab spring) could care less here. it isn’t even getting press that the vietnam protests got. duh.

The purpose of Government is to Protect the opulent rich (our job creators) from the Masses (the Ignorant, Untrustworthy Workers). FDR (A Socialist) put in motion the false ideas that the masses could think for themselves and run nearly anything. Wrong! The worker, the masses simply are not capable, it is not in their genes. The rich are rich because they have been endowed my God with the ability to be the Masters. Simple enough. We must get away from the phony idea of Democracy and allow the rich to control and dictate (Other than the mundane vulgarity of the masses) all that takes place in this Country. If this Nation is to move forward and regain its status, as it was in America’s “Gilded Age,” it is clear that we need, no, we must have a ‘régime change’ from within this Country where those industrial intellects, endowed by God, are again in control. Then, and only then, can the masses be appropriately dealt with, as President Bashar al-Assad is so courageously doing in Syria, so that this Nation can be returned to its former Power and Glory. @ Craig & @ Michaelwme: Israel has had its mass protests, too. For more affordable housing, education and health care. And I suppose social justice although that may be a byproduct.

We were held hostage due to a credit ‘freeze up’ and we essentially negotiated with bankster terrorists.

i don’t know if it was right or wrong at the time. Bush did it, maybe it averted something worse, obama continued it, maybe it averted something worse.

but what was absolutely wrong is that the people in charge of the trainwreck and the negotiating BENEFITED WILDLY, and nobody paid, except the middle class.

i’d like to see congressmen and those who walked away with hundreds of millions on trial.
