Ted Rall for October 12, 2011
Transcript:
Democrats and Republicans finally achieve consensus: Obama has to go. Barack Obama: The right hates me because they know I'm one of them. The left hates me because they think I'm one of them. Their hatred shows I'm on the right track which is no track at all.

And what are the alternatives? Perry? Bachmann? Cain? They are batsh*t insane (and I don’t use that term lightly). Mittens Romney? He gives pandering a bad name and flips worse than a just landed big mouth bass. Huntsman? Sane, emotionally stable and not a chance in H*ll of getting near a nomination.
Obama’s record is better than the pundits say. I still think he gives in too much and the bipartisanship sank a looooooong time ago. He should jump ship NOW. He should just say Teatards will never work with him and go from there.

Rall, as usual, drinking the Kool-Aid poured by the corporate media, ignoring Obama’s outstanding record, and the fact that he’s accomplished amazing amounts despite three years of the most obstructionist Congress in history.

I won’t call Obama’s record outstanding. He has had plenty of moments when he has seemed naive or weak. But I shudder to think what shape the country would be in under President McCain.
Obama offends Rall because Obama is & always has been a centrist & a pragmatist. Only fools & Tea Party-ers called Obama ‘liberal’.

“Disappointment” doesn’t equal “hate”. Achievements have occurred, many in fact, but between the press not covering them, and yes, corporate power still controlling a Congress unwilling to even cooperate with, let alone assist, an administration- it’s a lot different than when Bush could just cry wolf, or “terror!!” and get away with anything he wanted.

Um, no, the left DOES hate him. Dude sold us a bill o’ goods. Dude’s gotta go. I just cannot abide the dude.

Nope, they wanted to vote as far from Bush as they possibly could.

Republican blanket opposition has ensured that the uninformed electorate…cough…THINKS there’s no difference between Obama and that backwater hick.

Until we have a strong 3rd party that can call ‘shananigans’ on both of them will things ever change? They both pander to their corporate donors! Donating to the tune of million$/yr!
