These are the biggest bunch of buffoons and sheep ever. There’s no way that this mob is the 99% of anything, because they’re totally ignorant. They have no idea about why or how things happen. All they know is what they’ve been indoctrinated about how capitalism is supposedly evil, but they do not even know what it is. They have NO idea.

They also have no idea about how the alternative to capitalism will work to make anything better. All they care about is bringing it all down, with no consideration for the consequences.

Think about it, it is about the vast difference between the haves and havenots. The executives takeing huge salaries and incomes, yet cutting off workers and paying minimal wages to most of their workers.

The U.S. has about the worst income inequality (internal) in the industrialized world. It isn’t the “wealthy”, but the “legalized crooks” who are the target of the demonstrations. It is also those who’ve skated on their responsibilities to the nation that MADE THEM RICH! Gates family and Buffett have addressed this factor, and it is the Teaparty backing Kochs and others, like Walton family, who resent any effort to make them responsible citizens. Offshore banking to dodge taxes isn’t available to the “average” or “median income” individual, it shouldn’t be for corporations or the wealthy either.

Dillinger robbed banks with a gun. Today’s “bankers” rob folks with “regulations”, computers, and layers of fraud, they don’t even use a pen as in the days of “It’s a Wonderful LIfe”, or righteousness of “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” or a REAL filibuster.

Minimum wage, no skill jobs are worth an annual salary of $15,080. If you have the intellect to get a degree in Chemical Engineering, the annual salary is ~ $80,000. Your abilities define what an employer is willing to pay you for you services in a Capitalist economy. Looks like the demonstrators want to bring everyone down to their level!

I have a canadian friends who discusses American politics with me sometimes. A few weeks ago I asked him why, if he disliked our policies so much, he moved all the way from Winnipeg to be in a country he can’t stand.

    .

His answer was predictable. He came for a better job. Apparently 3 other members of his family did the same thing

    .

I then asked him if he had considered the idea that our policies are what make for the better jobs that so many canadians seek out…

Of course I didn’t consider that, because only a fool would consider that. The majority of this country was built without a safety net. And even now the majority of people never use or need a safety net.

    .

I myself, when I needed help, did not look for a handout, I joined the military, served my country and earned my paycheck with blood and sweat.

    ..

Safety nets are for lazy communists…
