Predator/prey relationships ARE a true “domino theory” we should be paying more attention to. Of course, as humans poison the oceans, and deplete fish stocks, as well as shark populations, it might be wise to confess that when the food chain is gone, the “top” topples too.
RE fennec: if you’re gonna go there….After 10,000? years of evolution as ‘intelligent beings’ and war is still the answer to many countries problems? Last year the world collectively spent $1.6 TRILLION in the global arms trade!!!!!! We’re gonna take ourselves out w/ the rest of life on this planet! Maybe mosses, lichens and pond scum will be able to survive.
