    It’s gotten to the point where more people remember the Sherpa than Sir Edmund.

    (Getting older by the minute, this reminds me that when I was a kid nobody had ever climbed Everest. Or run a 4-minute mile. Or walked on the moon. But at least there is that much less history to study because I remember it.)

    Barefoot no less.I actually did a GIS for Sherpa children and the only ones I saw were toddlers.

    I didn’t have to Google Tenzing Norgay but I DID Google GIS, and I still don’t know what it is.

    The only one I knew anything about (and not much) is the geographical survey kind but I don’t understand how it could be for Sherpa kids.
